We’re starting to get underwater photos on our stock site (finally!). Most recently, we added imagery taken in the waters off of The Channel Islands and Catalina Island. James will be out there shooting again this weekend- will keep you posted!

We’ve uploaded some new images of Utah to our stock site. Last fall we went on a road trip through Cedar Breaks, Capital Reef, Goblin Valley, Arches, and Canyonlands…and cool places in between like Slickrock Mountain Bike Trail in Moab. We have bazillion more images, but check them out if you get a chance! It’s hard to believe fall is just around the corner…

We are heading to Texas for our annual 4th of July family reunion. It is a true Americana celebration with homemade ice cream, fried catfish & hush puppies, and fireworks for days. Oh yeah, and did I mention the heat?!!!

We were able to photograph the Georgia Aquarium on a recent trip. It’s a great experience if you are ever in Atlanta! They have a great range of exhibits and highlights include whale sharks and beluga whales.

One of our images placed in the Extreme Exploration category in the World in Focus contest. The contest is sponsered by PDN and National Geographic Traveler. This was shot at Bear Glacier in Alaska and it was an amazing trip! We kayaked and camped for 3 days at the mouth of the glacier. The glaciers were larger than a 3 story building and the one in this shot was actually a cavern in an iceberg. You can see a hole melted, melt water dripping, and the sun beaming through. I don’t know if it is still on the shelves, but this shot was also in the December/January issue of National Geographic Adventure. You can find more photos from this trip on our stock site!

We spent the day skiing at Heavenly and then drove around the lake to north shore.. This first photo is a view from the top of Heavenly ski resort and the second is from Sand Harbor.

So we spent the eve of Christmas Eve in Big Sur shooting pictures under the full moon. These photos were taken with moonlight only and exposures are in the 8 minute range. Again these are night photographs.
